After doing a bit of analysis of one of my ancestor's dresses from the 1890s (see this blogpost: Fantastic book about ancestor clothing!! Out of style by Betty Kreisel Shubert), I decided to do a bit of trawling through TROVE to find some more examples of women's dress styles in the 1890s in Australia. Here are a couple of the illustrations I found.
