Over the years I have found a few great tools for researching genealogy - some of these I've found and others have been shared with me by other genies.
Here are a few of them. If you have any other additions, let me know.

- Weekday Calculator – What Day is this Date?
- Pre-decimal inflation calculator (Reserve Bank). Thanks to Alex Daw for suggesting this tool. As Alex says in her comment below, "it calulates what things would have cost in today's terms ".
What a great post. I like this tool which calulates what things would have cost in today's terms http://www.rba.gov.au/calculator/annualPreDecimal.html. I haven't found a timeline tool yet that really impresses me.
ReplyDeleteThanks for that one. I'll add it to the blogpost, with acknowledgements to you.
DeletePS And thanks for the Doodle tool which I hadn't heard of before. I found you via Jill Ball's GAG post.
ReplyDeleteI love this one ... especially if you are trying to coordinate a meeting up time or a reunion.
